HSE POLICY

Our HSE Philosophy

At Collorado, we believe that no job is so urgent or important that it cannot be done safely and responsibly. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) is more than a policy—it is an integral part of our corporate culture and operational excellence. We are fully committed to protecting the well-being of our people, our clients, and the environments in which we operate.

HSE Objectives

  • Zero harm to personnel, assets, and the environment

  • Full compliance with all applicable local and international HSE laws, regulations, and client requirements

  • Continual improvement through proactive hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety innovation

  • Promote a safety-first mindset across every level of the organization

Our Approach to HSE

1. Safety Management Systems

Collorado implements a structured HSE Management System that aligns with international standards (such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001). This system governs all safety practices, from hazard identification to incident investigation, and ensures consistent implementation of controls across all operations.

2. Risk Assessment and Control

Before any job begins, a thorough Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Risk Assessment is conducted. Appropriate control measures are developed and communicated to all personnel, ensuring every individual understands the hazards and their role in mitigating them.

3. Training and Competency

All employees and contractors undergo comprehensive HSE training programs covering:

  • Safe work procedures

  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

  • Emergency response drills

  • Environmental awareness

  • First aid and fire safety
Regular refresher courses ensure continuous awareness and competence.

4. Incident Prevention and Reporting

We maintain a robust incident reporting and investigation process to ensure that near misses, unsafe acts, and incidents are identified, logged, analyzed, and addressed with corrective actions. Lessons learned are shared across the organization to prevent recurrence.

Our Approach to HSE

As stewards of the environment, Collorado is dedicated to sustainable and responsible operations. Our environmental programs focus on:

  • Waste reduction and management
Proper segregation, treatment, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

  • Spill prevention and control
Use of spill kits, containment systems, and emergency response plans.

  • Water and air quality protection
Deployment of water treatment units and gas treatment systems to reduce emissions and pollutants.

  • Carbon footprint minimization
Use of energy-efficient technologies and emission-reduction strategies.

Employee Participation and Safety Culture

We encourage a “Stop Work Authority” culture, empowering every employee—regardless of rank or role—to halt any task they believe is unsafe. Regular toolbox meetings, safety drills, and HSE campaigns ensure a proactive safety mindset at all levels of the organization.

Performance Monitoring and Improvement

Through regular audits, HSE inspections, and key performance indicator (KPI) tracking, we monitor our safety and environmental performance. We constantly review our procedures and outcomes to drive continuous improvement and innovation in HSE practices.
